* Systems development lifecycle experience, from design through to testing
 * Demonstrable experience in Database Management
 * A background in IT
 * Defence domain knowledge is desirable
 * Interpersonal and communication skills. Confidence to liaise with customer and user representatives to discuss systems technical issues

## Description

* The development processes (e.g. requirements, design, specification, implementation, acceptance testing), and development tools
 * The design and implementation/modelling of database tables
 * Implementation of database packages using the Structured Query Language (SQL)
 * Performance monitoring and enhancement of an Oracle database, monitoring the Oracle website for updates and engaging with Oracle to request patches as well as Horizon scanning for vulnerabilities
 * Configuring Windows/Linux/RHEL operating systems
 * Creating bespoke applications and automated deployment using PowerShell
