## About the Role

* Minimum 2 years experience in a 1st line or school-based IT support role
 * Strong communication and customer service skills
 * Able to work independently and manage time across multiple locations
 * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
 * Friendly, calm, and professional attitude when working with staff and students
 * Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
 * 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent professional IT qualification (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft certification)
 * Installation and configuration of IT hardware and software
 * Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and above
 * Experience with Windows Server (2012 R2 and above)
 * Understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy
 * Office 365 admin experience, including Exchange Online and PowerShell
 * Basic hardware and networking troubleshooting skills

## Description

* Deliver on-site technical support at a primary school and rotate across a cluster of nearby schools as scheduled.
 * Provide 1st line support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
 * Install and configure IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and classroom AV systems.
 * Troubleshoot common issues with Windows, Office 365, and general networking (DNS, DHCP, file permissions).
 * Maintain school IT systems including updates, backups, and user account management via Active Directory.
 * Assist with mobile device management, including Apple and Windows-based systems.
 * Collaborate with AITs wider technical team to escalate complex issues when needed.
 * Maintain accurate records of work completed, equipment used, and issues resolved.
 * Travel between sites as part of a scheduled support rota (mileage covered where applicable).
