## About the Role

* 5+ years' experience within IT infrastructure, including at least 2 years working with cloud desktop or VDI technologies.
 * Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix or similar virtual desktop solutions.
 * Strong understanding of cloud networking, security and identity management.
 * Experience with Scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell or Terraform.
 * Understanding of ITIL practices and enterprise change management processes.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively within a global team environment.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.

## Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Desktop Engineer to join their Modern Desktop Programme, supporting the transformation of their desktop estate from Legacy VDI platforms to modern cloud-based desktop solutions.

You would be responsible for supporting the delivery of cloud desktop services across a global environment, working with technical teams to implement solutions, improve performance and ensure a reliable user experience., * Support the delivery and implementation of cloud desktop solutions within an enterprise environment.

 * Assist with the transition of users from existing VDI platforms to modern cloud desktop services.
 * Analyse and improve the performance, availability and scalability of desktop environments.
 * Investigate and resolve technical issues across virtual desktop platforms.
 * Work with global teams to support deployments and ongoing service improvements.
 * Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements.
 * Ensure desktop solutions meet required security and regulatory standards.
