## About the Role

Experteer Overview In this role you will sustain the physical security posture of AWS data centers under regional leadership, coordinating operations and leading contract security resources. You'll identify security gaps, drive improvements, and ensure programs meet global standards. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders, train personnel, and craft solutions that keep data center environments safe and compliant. This position offers operational variety with a chance to influence security practices at scale. Compensaciones / Beneficios * Coordinate daily site security operations * Direct and manage contract guard force for data center operations * Provide guidance to contract security personnel * Identify security gaps in barriers, procedures, surveillance, and alarms * Evaluate contractor performance and drive corrective actions * Educate stakeholders on false alarm reductions * Extract and analyze security metrics for improvements * Ensure security programs meet
global standards * Assist in media integrity programs and security training * Handle escalations and assign tasks within the team * Draft status reports and presentations on physical security * Collaborate on creation and implementation of security policies and procedures * Act as a customer advocate by identifying security opportunities * Participate in site audits and walk-throughs * Raise issues and propose solutions to senior team members * Interface with vendors involved in system repairs Responsabilidades * English fluency * Spanish fluency * Valid driver's license with personal vehicle * Experience with Microsoft Office tools * Professional Identity Card (TIP) as security director or ability to obtain * Habilitacion Personal de Seguridad (HPS) or ability to obtain Requisitos principales * mentorship and career growth * inclusive culture * work-life balance * diverse team * opportunity to shape security at scale * competitive environment
