## Description

We're recruiting a Business Intelligence Officer to join our Children's Services team at Milton Keynes City Council.

In this role, the successful candidate supports informed decision making that directly benefits children, young people, and families across the city.

The role focuses on turning complex data into meaningful insight, helping the service understand current demand, predict future needs, and shape services that make a real difference. The work supports statutory duties around placement sufficiency, ensuring the right provision is in place now and in the future.

The post holder works closely with colleagues and partners to provide clear analysis, influence strategy, and support service improvement across Children's Services.

This is a rewarding role where analytical expertise has a direct impact on outcomes for local people.

Site-Based role

This is a Site-Based role, and you'll be expected to work from the designated workplace.

It's a chance to be part of meaningful, system-wide change where your contribution really matters., * Manage and deliver high quality business intelligence to support Children's Services, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and meaningful.

 * Analyse trends and produce clear reports that help managers understand performance, identify key insights, and plan for future demand.
 * Support statutory data returns, ensuring they are completed accurately, on time, and with appropriate quality assurance.
 * Work with colleagues and partners to improve data quality, data sharing, and data security practices.
 * Use research, evidence, and analysis to support service improvement, development, and decision-making.
 * Develop and improve methods of data collection, storage, and analysis, while working collaboratively to challenge and support stakeholders to achieve high quality outcomes.
