Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in implementing and troubleshooting these technologies: Meraki SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, Meraki Wireless, Palo Alto Firewall, Cloud, and on-premise data centre solutions. Our Engineers work closely with colleagues in all positions, so communication and interpersonal skills are critical for this role. We expect deep expertise in one or two areas and baseline skills and knowledge across a wide range of IT technologies. You will have relevant professional certifications and experience to demonstrate your capabilities and fit for the role. ## Description As a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will work closely with the team lead, focusing on supporting and maintaining the network, as well as implementing projects and solutions following best practices and standards. You will also be expected to collaborate with other infrastructure teams such as Cloud and EUC and support junior members in your team. You will play a key role in ensuring our critical network infrastructure is optimised for security, high availability, and disaster recovery. You will collaborate with the Information Security Team to ensure compliance with ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and PCN standards. This position offers the opportunity to design, secure, and implement new cloud platforms and systems, providing a robust network for our staff and residents. You'll work as part of a team of infrastructure specialists and engineers focusing on delivering infrastructure service that underpins our services, including Azure, AWS and on-premises technology., We want Camden Council to be a great place to work and to ensure that our communities are represented across our workforce.
