## Description

As a Data Scientist on our Strategic Network Design team, you'll help shape the future of Best Buy's supply chain. Using data science, analytics, and modeling, you'll uncover insights that influence major decisions about inventory, transportation, fulfillment, and network growth. You'll work with cross-functional partners to solve complex business challenges and turn data into actionable recommendations that improve cost, speed, capacity, and customer experience.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Analyze large, complex datasets to support supply chain planning and network design decisionsBuild and maintain analytical models, forecasts, and scenario-planning inputsIdentify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, capacity utilization, and service performanceDevelop scalable data pipelines that improve the quality and consistency of network modelingPartner with analysts, modelers, and business teams to translate operational needs into data-driven solutionsPresent insights, recommendations, and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
