You will regularly take part in deep-dive education and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS., * 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience * 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 7+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience * Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, storage, network, security, database administration and cloud infrastructure * Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units * 5+ years design and implementation experience with Graph Databases such as Neo4J, TigerGraph, including Graph data modeling and Query languages. * An understanding of computing deployment models as they relate to databases and analytics. * Working knowledge of modern software development practices such as agile methodologies and DevOps., * Experience in NoSQL at an expert level * Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers * AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification * History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises. * Hands-on experience with services related to databases highly desirable, particularly Amazon Aurora, Lambda, Amazon Neptune, Amazon OpenSearch, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2 Container Service, Amazon Kinesis, etc. ## Description Amazon Web Services (AWS) Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges.
