Ability to Conduct Research into Emerging Technologies
Ability to Solve Complex Problems

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or Technical Degree, or 2 years of Experience in a Progressive IT Environment
Experience in a Help Desk Environment
Experience with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office and Outlook
Must have a Valid Driver's License

## Description

Performs desktop and end user support for various County IT locations. Work can be performed at any of the six County IT locations depending on County needs or workload. Work includes but is not limited to
Support of desktop and client side peripherals.
End user support including hardware and application assistance.
Installing, upgrading and maintaining PC's and related hardware.
Troubleshoot and support network connectivity infrastructure including Wi-Fi and cabling.
Assist in end user training in regards to departmental hardware and applications.
Inventory of IT equipment.
Provide "on-call" emergency support.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities, Work is performed under the direction of the County Information Technology Director or onsite IT Manager.
Conditions Of Employment
The selected candidate will be pre-employment required to obtain, at their own expense, 3 forms of clearance, including:
PA State Police Criminal History Record Check
PA Child Abuse History
FBI Criminal History Background Check including Finger Printing
