We need to change the design of the network to a more robust proposed VLMS subnet model. The goal is to create better isolation for teams who can run CVaR (conditional value-at-risk) protocols safely, wherein if not blocked, would create network wide impacts. This involves network design changes, implementation of new DHCP and DNS services, that is already a part of the InfraOps domain. Moving to this model should allow us to identify all traffic centrally, including mac/fqdn (fully qualified domain name) endpoints in our NCM, Netflow and related tools. Once accomplished, we can then brownout (disable) an offending team's port or entire switch/stack as well as create the proper registration process before allowing IP address usage. Note: the design will need to consider T0/T1 connections into NSX before being routed out to the uplinked IT environment ## Related Videos - [How Cisco embraced a DevOps culture within its network engineering team](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/99-how-cisco-embraced-a-devops-culture-within-its-network-engineering-team) - [How your .NET software supply chain is open to attack : and how to fix it](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/938-how-your-net-software-supply-chain-is-open-to-attack-and-how-to-fix-it) - [Your Infrastructure Is Not a Playground: AI Agents for Infra Done Right](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2084-your-infrastructure-is-not-a-playground-ai-agents-for-infra-done-right) - [Remote Driving on Plant Grounds with State-of-the-Art Cloud Technologies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/251-remote-driving-on-plant-grounds-with-state-of-the-art-cloud-technologies) - [Machine Learning in ML.NET](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/272-machine-learning-in-ml-net) - [Computer Vision from the Edge to the Cloud done easy](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/263-computer-vision-from-the-edge-to-the-cloud-done-easy) ## Related Articles - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market)
