## Description

Data Science Manager, Leadership, Leading Data Science, Retail, Python, SQL, Roadmaps, Cloud Analytics, Southampton area 2-3 days a month minimum.

You will be leading a Data Science team to deliver machine learning and advanced analytics solutions that improve customer insight, drive commercial decision-making and enable personalisation across a retail organisation.

You will be able to challenge approaches, raise standards, coach technical talent and influence senior stakeholders across Customer, Digital, CRM, Loyalty, Retail Media, Finance, and Technology.

This role will require you to be in Southampton 2-3 days a month, * Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Data Science team.

 * Own and deliver the Data Science roadmap, prioritising work based on business value.
 * Oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models, including churn, customer lifetime value, forecasting, segmentation and recommendation.
 * Ensure solutions are scalable, robust, governed and production-ready.
 * Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate commercial challenges into data-driven solutions.
 * Drive best practice in data science, model governance and technical delivery.
 * Deliver measurable business value through the effective use of data science.
