## About the Role

5+ years experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Platform development
Strong hands?on experience with lakehouse technologies, preferably Databricks
Strong understanding of data modelling, lakehouse architecture, ingestion and transformation patterns, and data quality
Experience defining engineering standards and promoting best practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience coaching, mentoring or enabling engineering teams
Nice to Have
Experience leading engineering communities, guilds or learning programmes
Databricks certification or equivalent practical experience
Experience working within platform teams or Centres of Excellence
