## About the Role

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

At least eight (8) years of relevant professional experience

A mechanical engineering background with a minimum of two years experience in CAD/PDM systems administration or implementation

Deep technical and application knowledge of CAD/PDM systems, specifically Creo, and Solidworks/PDM

Solid understanding of engineering processes, including Research & Development (R&D) and New Product Introduction (NPI)

Experience using AI with CAD tools and simulation is preferred, but not required

Ability to work effectively under pressure and outside of standard working hours when necessary

## Description

The Senior IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing IT support to engineers at KLA in their use of CAD and PDM systems, including Creo and Solidworks/PDM. The role encompasses tasks such as installation support, troubleshooting, training, and analyzing requirements to improve the machine design process at KLA. This role will also provide IT support through KLA's Digital Transformation and AI roadmap to implement CAD Integration with PLM, Libraries cleanup, Early BOM, AI tools and other cross-organizational work procedures., Provide comprehensive support for CAD/PDM systems utilized by KLA engineers

Serve as the administrator for PDM tools

Manage projects of new CAD related tools introduction and design process efficiency improvements

Implement new CAD model templates, data cards, and workflows

Collaborate with other systems, including PLM, to ensure integration and process optimization
