## About the Role

* Level 2 & Level 3 Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
 * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
 * Experience in electrical maintenance (facilities, building services, or industrial environments)
 * Strong fault-finding and PPM knowledge
 * Good communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

 * Experience in data centres or critical environments
 * HVAP / LVAP Authorisation
 * Knowledge of UPS systems, generators, and critical power infrastructure

## Description

The Role As a Data Centre Engineer / Critical Site Engineer, you will maintain and support critical electrical infrastructure within a live data centre environment, including:

 * UPS systems (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
 * Standby generators
 * LV/HV electrical distribution systems
 * Switchgear and control systems
 * Building Management Systems (BMS)

You will work in a safety-critical, high-performance environment, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Operations

 * Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
 * Maintain and fault-find critical electrical systems
 * Complete technical reports and maintain accurate documentation
 * Use CMMS systems for job tracking and compliance
 * Support 24/7 operations, including on-call rota participation
 * Respond to and escalate critical incidents effectively

Team & Contractor Management

 * Supervise subcontractors and ensure safe working practices
 * Assist with remedial works, upgrades, and small projects

Compliance & Safety

 * Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) standards
 * Attend training, team meetings, and technical briefings
