We support U-M faculty, researchers, staff, and students in their use of technology to teach, learn, research, and work, and be leaders in their fields. We are dedicated to creating cohesive digital experiences and promoting university wide innovations. As an ERP Business Systems Analyst specializing in human resources (HR), you will be involved in all aspects of the process, including the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management module. Your expertise in business analysis and HR-related systems will help maintain the hire to retire programs, compliance with relevant regulations, and optimize our HR operations. You will be part of an enthusiastic and supportive team that prides itself on ensuring the highest level of accuracy and customer service to the University community. You will report to the Assistant Director of HCM Systems., * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify areas for improvement in systems and processes. * Perform data analysis to ensure accurate processing of HR transactions and federal regulations compliance. * Identify and resolve human resources-related issues, system errors, and discrepancies. * Execute test plans to support infrastructure updates, software upgrades and releases. * Participate in project meetings, provide progress reports, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. * Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to HR systems., Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
