## About the Role

* Significant experience in Information Governance, Data Governance, Records Management, Data Protection or Knowledge & Information Management (KIM)
 * Commercial awareness relating to customer data, membership data, information sharing and contractual arrangements
 * Strong understanding of UK GDPR, FOI, EIR, Public Records legislation and information rights
 * Proven experience leading governance, compliance or information management improvement programmes
 * Experience advising stakeholders on information risk and regulatory compliance
 * Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
 * Experience supporting digital transformation, data platforms or AI-related initiatives

## Description

* Lead information governance, records management and data governance activities across the organisation
 * Ensure compliance with UK GDPR, Data Protection Act, FOI, EIR, Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Public Records requirements
 * Advise stakeholders on information risk, data sharing, retention, disclosure and governance best practice
 * Provide guidance on commercial use of data, contract negotiations, partnership agreements and information sharing arrangements
 * Support governance across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive environments
 * Chair governance forums and build strong relationships across HR, Finance, Digital and operational teams
 * Develop policies, frameworks and training to improve information management maturity and compliance
 * Provide credible advice on the governance implications of new systems, data initiatives and AI adoption
