Candidates with an ACTIVE SECRET clearance are preferred. * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related field) * FIVE (5) or more years of professional acquisition engineering experience, including THREE (3) or more years of experience supporting DoD programs/projects. What Would Be Nice To Have: * An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance * Advanced degree in Engineering or related field * DoD acquisition experience; familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and documentation * Demonstrated management and leadership skills in a collaborative environment * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively within all organizational levels, including senior DoD leadership ## Description The Systems Integration & Avionics Engineer provides acquisition engineering, systems engineering, and avionics engineering support for Air Force weapon systems throughout the lifecycle, including concept development, requirements definition, design, integration, test, production, sustainment, deployment, operations, and divestiture.
