What will you be doing? * This is pivotal role driving the ongoing provision of the GSMR service to GB Rail. * The role is the service responsible owner for the GSMR service and responsible for developing the strategic direction and management of the underpinning technology roadmap. * The role will be a key stakeholder in the transformation of the current network to the FRMCS 5G technologies. * Providing expert advice, input and support associated with the provision of services for our projects, customers, stakeholders, and suppliers. * Provide professional leadership for the development of engineers aligned to the wireless technologies and undertake professional mentorship of engineers. * Lead the technical input to incident investigations and safety verification. * Lead the setting of architecture, roadmaps, standards, operational processes, and systems.
