Essential experience includes: * Strong commercial SQL development experience. * Proven experience administering enterprise data warehouses. * Experience with Snowflake. * Experience developing data pipelines and ELT processes. * Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles and dimensional modelling (Kimball). * Experience using dbt. * Power BI report and dashboard development. * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability. * Experience documenting data solutions and technical specifications. * Understanding of data governance, GDPR and data security principles. Desirable experience: * Fivetran or similar integration tools. * Microsoft Fabric. * GitHub and modern SDLC practices. * ERP integrations such as Dynamics 365 or Infor. * Exposure to AI technologies including Snowflake Cortex or OpenAI tooling. * Experience within engineering, manufacturing or aerospace environments.
