## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
 * Five (5) or more years of experience in testing, engineering, research, or product development environments preferred.
 * Experience working in laboratory or research environments.
 * Experience supporting R&D, acceptance, validation, qualification, or performance testing.
 * Experience collecting, analyzing, and documenting experimental data.
 * Strong technical writing and communication skills.
 * Ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
 * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
 * Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
 * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

## Description

System One is seeking a Test Engineer to support cutting-edge testing and research activities for advanced nuclear energy technology. This position is responsible for supporting the design, planning, execution, and documentation of engineering tests in a research and development environment. The selected candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, scientists, and technicians to ensure testing is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project requirements.

 * Support the design and development of test components and experimental equipment.
 * Execute engineering tests and document testing activities.
 * Analyze test data and prepare detailed technical reports.
 * Support the setup, commissioning, and operation of laboratory and experimental equipment.
 * Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technicians to ensure testing objectives are achieved.
 * Assist with research and development activities supporting advanced engineering programs.
 * Maintain accurate documentation throughout all phases of testing.
 * Promote continuous improvement and support implementation of engineering best practices.
 * Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with established procedures.
