## About the Role

* High School Diploma required
 * 2+ years of hands-on experience in field install or service and remote technical support
 * Knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems
 * Experience in programming of Bosch, DMP and Honeywell fire and security product sites
 * Working knowledge of network communications, IP addressing and local/national codes
 * Must have the ability to read drawings
 * Brivo, Open Options, i3, Ava, exacq, Milestone, Avigilon, / VMS or other access control certifications preferred but not required

## Description

The Remote Technology Support role will work within an end-user-oriented remote engineering support team for customer installations, conversions or service or commercial Fire & berg systems.

The Remote Technology Support position will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, remote tech support installations of commercial alarm, fire, and card access systems, provide reliable and high quality remote customer support, remote downloader support for new system installations, upgrades and additions, measure and report on progress and completion of assigned tasks, organize and develop customer and team technical resources and performing routine system configuration changes as needed.

This position operates during the working hours of 10:00am CST to 7:00pm CST. This position also requires to be on a rotating on call schedule.
