* Systems level thinker with evidence of driving product design optimization across products,disciplinesand teams

 * Fundamentals inphotovoltaics (mandatory),power electronics,and battery technology(preferred)

 * Ability to generate and interpret simulation results and integrate recommendations into product designs

 * Fluency inPython,Matlab/ Simulink

 * Experience with system level architecturescomprisingelectrical, thermal, mechanical and FW/SW sub-systems

What You'll Do

 * Leadsystem architecture and productoptimizationfor solar products all the way from site to cell,leveragingfirst-principlesphysics models to derive design sensitivities and constraints

 * Owns development of system requirements, distributes function and performance to components within systems, defines system hardware and software architecture, defines electrical, mechanical, and communication interfaces for components to meet those goals

 * Collaborate directly with design, integration, compliance, reliability, product, and service teams for system architecture and design development

 * Defineselectrical, mechanical, and communication interfaces for components

 * Capturesrequirements in a formal management tool

 * Leadsand contribute tocross-functionaldesign reviews for development efforts

 * Worksdirectly with system test team for system test plan development and validation of system design requirements
