As a Kubernetes Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining distributed and managed platform services, including automating the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of system components. You will tune systems for performance, reliability, and efficiency, plan and manage sof tware releases and feature deployments, and support users through platform consolidation and optimization efforts. The role includes occasional administration of server hardware and sof tware, enforcement of security best practices and procedures, and troubleshooting and resolution of system issues. You are expected to stay current with operating systems, sof tware analysis techniques, and emerging technologies, and to proactively research and recommend future technical directions or projects to leadership. This position also provides technical expertise and guidance in the develop ment or modification of sof tware programs and applications to improve overall platform and operating system performance. You'll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers spe cia lizing in hybrid cloud and edge-based platforms to develop , test, and deploy secure containerized solutions.
