## About the Role

* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
 * 7 years+ of experience in software development
 * Strong programming skills in C# and C++
 * Experience developing software applications in a Windows-based environment
 * Experience with Qt is highly desirable
 * Experience in the Medical Device Industry or another regulated environment is a strong advantage
 * Understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and software release processes
 * Fluent in English; German language skills are preferred
 * Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

## Description

As a Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) supporting our Surgical R&D Team, you will contribute to the development of innovative software solutions for WaveLight and VARION products at our Teltow, Germany location. Due to the growing number of development projects, we are expanding our local team and are looking for a software engineer who will work closely with our existing development experts in a collaborative international environment.

In this role, a typical day will include:

 * Developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications for medical devices using C# and C++ in a Windows-based environment
 * Collaborating with local and global engineering teams to deliver software solutions supporting WaveLight and VARION products
 * Participating in software design, implementation, testing, debugging, and release activities throughout the product lifecycle
 * Working with software frameworks such as Qt and contributing to software architecture discussions and technical improvements
 * Supporting software development activities in a regulated medical device environment while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, * You will contribute to innovative technologies that improve patients' quality of life worldwide
 * You will work within a collaborative, international R&D environment alongside highly qualified professionals
 * You will join a growing development team in Teltow with opportunities for long-term professional development and technical growth
