* Ability to travel on business related trips as needed.

 * Computing literacy with MS Office applications. SAP experience is a plus.
 * CAD - Inventor preferred.
 * Experience in tool design, tool build and modeling., * Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering preferred.
 * Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment minimum.

Ethical Standards And Conduct, To support the manufacturing operations, including determining the most cost-effective method of manufacturing components with existing equipment/facilities as well as proposing new methods/equipment.

A Day In The Life

 * Ensure safe operation of all equipment and processes.
 * Trouble-shoot and resolve manufacturing process issues.
 * Prepare justification documentation for capital expenditures.
 * Lead / Assist in tool design and manufacturing process development.
 * Develop and implement cost saving projects. Participate in Lean events that drive productivity and cost improvement.
 * Lead quality improvement activities including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
 * Work closely with product engineering in product changes/new product introductions.
 * Investigate and implement safety and ergonomic changes in the manufacturing setting.
 * Provide technical support/training to direct labor employees.
 * Supporting plant-wide Safety initiatives.
 * Additional duties as assigned.
