## About the Role

* Education System Engineering or other relevant IT degree.
 * Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
 * Deep knowledge of Cisco underlay switches.
 * Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., Leaf & Spine Topology, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, VXLAN, EVPN).
 * Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
 * Experience with SDN Products (e.g., Nuage, NSX, CISCO ACI).
 * Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
 * Monitoring Tools (Netscout, CA Spectum, VMware VRNI, Arista Cloud Vision Portal).
 * Capability of working under critical situations in a productive environment., * Public Cloud experience, preferably in AWS, MS Azure.
 * Solid scripting skills (e.g., Shell scripts, Python, Power Shell).
 * Cloud architectures (vCloud, Azure/AWS).
 * Automation (AVD, Ansible).
 * Experience in Agile Methodology (Kanban, SCRUM).
 * Experience in Agile Tools (JIRA, Confluence).

## Description

* Install, configure, test and maintain the network infrastructure, switches, routers, also SDN elements like VMware NSX and different network management tools.
 * Proactively ensure the highest levels of network and infrastructure availability.
 * Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with Support & Engineering Teams to implement those fixes.
 * Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
 * Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
 * Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
 * Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
 * Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
