* 4+ years of Python development experience in a Data Engineering, Backend Engineering, or Database Engineering/DBA role
 * Strong expertise in one of the following areas:
 * PySpark and Spark SQL
 * MySQL database optimization and scaling
 * Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level software applications
 * Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
 * Strong software engineering experience focused on enterprise software development
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience using Claude Code or other AI-assisted development tools
 * Healthcare or analytics platform experience

## Description

The application is primarily built with Python and MySQL, with an Angular and Spring-based front end. The team is looking for engineers who can contribute to both the technical scalability and ongoing evolution of the platform., Python Developer - Data Engineering Focus

 * Develop and maintain backend services using Python
 * Build and optimize data processing workflows using PySpark and Spark SQL
 * Deliver new features and enhancements aligned to the product roadmap
 * Improve platform stability, performance, and reliability
 * Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders

Python Developer - Database Scaling Focus

 * Lead efforts to optimize and scale MySQL databases as user adoption and data volumes grow
 * Identify and resolve underlying performance and scalability challenges
 * Implement improvements to database architecture and data management processes
 * Contribute to backend application development using Python
 * Support roadmap initiatives by developing new features and technical enhancements as the platform evolves

Both positions offer the opportunity to work on a high-impact analytics product that directly supports critical PBM forecasting and business decision-making capabilities.
