Desired Characteristics + Master's degree in engineering discipline or Edison Engineering program completion + Technical knowledge of combined cycle performance/optimization, thermodynamics and equipment process design + Basic technical understating of Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine or other turbomachinery products + Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, & collaboration skills + Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally with multiple engineering teams + Strong analytical skills working independently and in a team environment + Experience in process integration and simulation tools (e.g. ALPRO, HBPRO, Ebsilon, Thermoflow, Gatecycle, Aspen) + Experience in steam turbine design processes and engineering design tools, power plant testing and test code + Understanding of process flow diagrams, plant operational concepts, water steam/operating cycle technology, or performance guarantees + Customer and team focused ## Description The Steam Turbine Engineering team develops and designs highly efficient turbomachines through the latest engineering sciences and disciplines integrated with digital technologies. As Steam Performance and Thermodynamic Engineer, you will be responsible to provide steam turbine heat balance calculations, functional specifications for mechanical equipment, performance predictions and performance correction curves for different requisition (REQ) projects worldwide.
