Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance., Role Summary/Scope: The Equipment Reliability Engineer will be responsible for defining and executing the long-term reliability roadmap for our site/facility. This role focuses on transitioning our maintenance strategy from reactive to proactive/predictive, optimizing equipment uptime, and integrating digital tools to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)., * Reliability Roadmap Development: Establish and lead a multi-year strategy to improve equipment reliability, focusing on MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair). * PM/PdM Optimization: Audit current Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules. Redesign and implement predictive maintenance (PdM) techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) to move toward a Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) approach. * Capital Upgrades & Obsolescence: Identify critical equipment at end-of-life. Manage the technical scope and execution of equipment upgrades and retrofits to improve performance and safety. * Digital Integration: Lead the deployment and optimization of OEE software and asset management systems.
