## About the Role

We are looking for a Tech Lead specialized in Java and Kafka with a strong background in the banking sector. This role requires a highly autonomous professional who can take ownership, proactively solve complex challenges, and operate independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.

Language: English is a must. Spanish desirable., * Proven experience with Java, including Spring Boot.

 * Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (DB19 preferred).
 * Hands-on experience with system integrations, interface management, and scripting.
 * Solid background in Kafka and/or IBM MQ (mandatory).
 * Deep understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
 * Experience across the application lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines.
 * Knowledge of deployment and orchestration tools, particularly Octopus Deploy (Jenkins is a plus).
 * Experience working with GitHub and/or GitLab.

Nice to Have

 * Knowledge of SWIFT messaging.
 * Understanding of investment products and financial instruments.
 * Experience within financial markets or capital markets environments.
