## About the Role

* Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and root cause analysis skills
 * Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and/or Sybase
 * Solid understanding of batch processing, job scheduling, and system integrations
 * Familiarity with infrastructure components (servers, operating systems, monitoring tools)
 * Experience within financial services, investment management, or trading systems (CRIMS preferred)
 * Exposure to networking, scripting, XML, programming languages, scheduling tools, monitoring platforms, and disaster recovery/business continuity practices
 * Strong problem-solving mindset with a high degree of ownership and accountability
 * Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes
 * Ability to work independently within the defined delivery scope

## Description

* Configure and deploy client environments across CRIMS / OMS platforms
 * Execute end-to-end upgrades, including application deployment, batch configuration, and system integrations
 * Troubleshoot and resolve issues across batch processes, interfaces, configurations, and system performance
 * Perform log analysis and root cause investigation for technical issues and defects
 * Support system testing, validation, and go-live activities to ensure production readiness
 * Assess client infrastructure and environments for upgrade compatibility and readiness
 * Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements, dependencies, and delivery plans
 * Develop and execute upgrade plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation
 * Lead technical implementation activities, including installation, configuration, and environment validation
 * Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure a smooth transition and issue resolution during upgrades
 * Implement deployment approaches that minimize downtime and disruption to client operations
 * Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and operational procedures throughout delivery
 * Act as the primary technical contact during upgrades, managing issues and communications with stakeholders
 * Escalate complex technical issues or system-level failures to appropriate engineering teams
