Relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree * Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment using the Scrum methodology * Willingness to participate in a pair-programming work environment * Experience with Python, YAML, and Rest API development * Experience with bruno/postman * Familiarity with JSON * Familiarity with test automation * Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD) pipeline concepts and tools * Some familiarity with Docker Containers and Kubernetes * Great interpersonal and communications skills, while establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with team members * Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly. * Excellent communication skills, in both spoken and written English * Must be a US Citizen due to DoD contract What Desired Skills You'll Bring: * Software development lifecycle experience (SDLC), especially within the DoD * Experience developing in and deploying to a Linux environment * Experience with microservice software development * Experience with TRMC DevSecOps environment or similar DSO experience * Experience with Government standards and procedures. * Understanding of, and experience working within, the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ## Description Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented API Software Engineer to join our team!
