## About the Role

* Active TS with SCI eligibility is required
 * 5 years or more of general work experience
 * 2 years or more of directly related experience
 * Current DoD IAT Level II or higher (Sec+)
 * Working knowledge and system administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments; Microsoft Windows operating systems (OS) administration and associated hardware; VMWare and system visualization; and Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies.
 * Red-hat or Linux experience/knowledge.
 * Understanding virtual machine and Remote Desktop.
 * Windows System Administration experience or Background with SPADOC or space situational analysis/space orbital.

 * AS degree in computer field.
 * VCP/VCAP
 * Cyber and Space Operations experience.
 * Basic understanding of network topologies and protocols.
 * Remedy trouble ticket experience.

## Description

* Serves as a backup to lead computer systems administrator and provide guidance, direction, and training to others in the group.
 * Build and/or debug complicated hardware and software to correct difficult problems using technically advanced problem-solving skills.
 * Develop and implement system documentation and operating procedures. Identifies and corrects processing anomalies.
 * Install operating system software, patches, and upgrades.
 * Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
 * Configure, optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware.
 * Perform system backups, recovery, and server builds.
 * Provide systems administrator support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for computer systems.
 * Manage file servers and network access to include analyzing, troubleshooting, and documenting system anomalies.
 * Perform and provides server, workstation, and system expertise including on-site and off-site travel.
 * Coordinate and schedules system upgrades and maintenance.
 * Provide guidance, direction, and training to others in the group. Serves as backup to other computer systems administrators.
 * Perform and provide server and workstation expertise including on-site and off-site travel.
 * Order replacement of new hardware and software including warranty claims.

This position is expected to pay annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
