As the IT Security Architect, you will design and implement the secure enterprise infrastructure and guide corporate cybersecurity governance. You will create policies, standards and procedures for infrastructure hardening, identity access management, and incident response. This is a hands-on architecture role. You are expected to design, review, and deploy security tooling. You work across infrastructure domains and advise leadership on long-term platform strategy and systemic risk. Work Schedule: Schedule fluctuates based on workloads, including on call weekend responsibilities as needed. Role & Responsibilities * Integrate logging, monitoring, and telemetry into a centralized security information and event management (SIEM) tool. * Perform data mapping to ensure compliance with global data privacy and security regulation. * Develop and refine incident policies and procedures and lead preparedness exercises. Review, define and maintain secure reference architectures across virtualization, networking, identity, and operating systems. * Define hardening standards for operating systems, networking equipment, SaaS apps, and cloud environments. * Ensure infrastructure security aligns with network segmentation, firewalls, routing, DNS, and load balancing. * Conduct threat modeling and architectural risk assessments for major initiatives. Participate in the Change Advisory Board and provide guidance to infrastructure changes. Serve as a technical escalation point for complex cross-domain security issues. * Challenge decisions that introduce systemic risk or operational fragility.
