## About the Role

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

 * Experience in Software Development and Deployment, including analysis, design, integration, automated testing, continuous integration and deployment.
 * Experience with Java, containerized deployments (including Docker and Kubernetes), DevSecOps and Gitlab.
 * Experience working in a team-focused development environment, such as Agile/SCRUM.

Qualifications We Prefer:

 * Strong background in distributed systems, real-time or near-real-time processing, or autonomous system software
 * Experience with Java, Python, GoLang, and/or container-oriented development (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
 * Understanding of networking, messaging frameworks, or middleware used in distributed command-and-control systems.
 * Exposure to model-based engineering, simulation environments, or digital-engineering tools.
 * Experience working on IRAD, early R&D prototypes, or technology maturation efforts.
 * Experience working on Combat Systems solutions.
