Education: * 2 or 4 year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Educational Technology, Education, or a closely related field preferred. * Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, Google Certified Educator, Google Cloud) preferred. Specific Skills: * Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and QoS. * Proficiency with enterprise-grade networking equipment (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Meraki, Ubiquiti). * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments, Linux, and mobile device management (MDM) platforms. * Experience managing Google Workspace for Education and Microsoft Office 365/Azure environments. * Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V. * Strong understanding of current networking standards, operating systems, data management, and cybersecurity best practices. * Excellent technical leadership and team collaboration skills. * Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a systematic approach to troubleshooting. * Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and a rapidly changing environment. * Commitment to providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders. * Ability to work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, students, parents, and vendors. * Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to technology in education (e.g., E-Rate, CIPA, FERPA).
