## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
 * More than 6 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems management.
 * Proficiency in managing Windows systems.
 * Familiarity with VMware virtualization technology.
 * Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.
 * Experience with system monitoring and management tools.
 * Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator).
 * Experience working with technical teams to develop and deliver technical documentation

Requirements:

 * An active Top-Secret, Department of State SCI required to start

Extras:

 * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
 * Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
 * Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and task scripting.
 * Certification in ITIL or other relevant service management certifications is a plus

## Description

* You'll install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and security patches across the network.
 * You'll monitor system performance and proactively address any performance issues, bottlenecks, or potential problems.
 * You'll administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring data security and compliance with company policies.
 * You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurring problems.
 * You'll provide technical support to end-users, assisting them with IT-related problems and inquiries.
 * You'll maintain and update documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures
