This role will contribute to both new product development and ongoing improvements, ensuring successful delivery of hardware from concept through integration and testing., * Design and develop mechanical systems and mechanisms, including performing analysis and trade studies to optimize performance, efficiency, and manufacturability * Execute detailed engineering design work in accordance with established standards, procedures, and program requirements * Collaborate with internal teams to support system integration, assembly, and testing activities * Partner with external vendors by defining requirements, reviewing designs, and tracking development progress * Develop and maintain mechanical documentation, including requirements, drawings, interface definitions, and test procedures * Define and validate mechanical interfaces between subsystems and components * Support qualification testing (e.g., vibration, thermal, environmental) and evaluate results * Troubleshoot hardware issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions * Present technical findings and design updates during reviews with cross-functional teams and stakeholders * Identify and implement process improvements, new technologies, or innovative design approaches ## Related Videos - [Robots are coming into the wild!
