## About the Role

* Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, particularly networking and storage.

 * Proven Terraform delivery at scale in production environments.

 * Strong working experience with Databricks in production.

 * Practical experience operating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.

 * Track record in cloud platform or infrastructure engineering roles, ideally with exposure to large enterprise programmes.

 * Professional English plus German at B2 minimum.

## Description

As an Azure Cloud Data Engineer, you will build and further develop scalable, secure Azure-based cloud platforms within enterprise programmes spanning automotive, e-mobility and other sectors, working hands-on across infrastructure, automation and platform engineering.
Tasks

 * Platform Engineering: Build out and continually develop Azure cloud platforms with a focus on stable and scalable infrastructure components.

 * Infrastructure as Code: Design, implement and maintain Azure infrastructure with Terraform, with particular focus on networking and storage.

 * Data Platform Integration: Work alongside Databricks workloads, ensuring infrastructure supports robust data engineering and analytics use cases.

 * CI/CD & Automation: Build and maintain pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins to support reliable, repeatable deployments.

 * Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with design, implementation and operations teams across a mix of hands-on delivery and conceptual development.

 * Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to best practices, internal standards and reusable solution approaches across the wider engineering organisation.
