Physical exertion will be required to move, lift, and carry equipment manually. This position requires the ability to work with limited supervision and prioritize workflow as needed, while maintaining effective communication with other support personnel and the supervisor. The ability to relate well with students and staff is required, as communication will occur frequently. This position may require working in crowded areas with moderate noise levels., Secretarial experience is strongly preferred. Minimum of an AA degree in a computer-related discipline, A+ or other applied technical certification, or two years of employment-related documented experience preferred. A Washington State Patrol Criminal History Information Form, required by RCW 43.43.830. Must successfully pass the required background check. Must hold or have the ability to acquire a valid Washington State driver's license, along with dependable transportation. Knowledge and use of computer operating systems and concepts for Macintosh, Windows, Chrome OS, and iOS preferred. Ability to read and understand manuals for software and hardware applicable to district policies and standards. Attendance and punctuality are important in this position. Ability to maintain professionalism with a diverse group of staff, contractors and community members. ## Description Under the direction of the Director of Technology, provide service in the management, operation, and support of Instructional Technology systems. Provide technical assistance for the System Administrator, Network Administrator, Instructional Technology Trainer, Server Specialist, Technical Support Specialist (TSS), Mobile Device Specialist, and TSS Lead, and any other position regarding Instructional Technology (Staff/Student/Parent Facing). Technical assistance is also provided to students, staff, and parents via phone, chat, email, remote, and in-person interactions when requested. Performs secretarial duties and assists with data, fiscal and personnel support to assist the Director of the department in achieving departmental, Main duty will be the collaboration and communication of help desk requests for Technology systems and devices for all students, staff, and parents via tickets, phone, email, chat, or in-person. Digitally collaborate on tickets with all technicians where required. Coordinate repair and insurance programs for Technology Devices. Facilitate investigations of fines/fees for technology devices Collaborate with the Device specialist to maintain and perform initial inventory and tracking for Technology. Purchase and maintain inventory of purchased and/or licensed mobile device applications. Collaboration and communication with Server Specialist, Instructional Technology Trainer, Device Specialist, and Systems Administrator. Must have the ability to relate well, be responsive, and work effectively with students, staff, and parents. Maintain, troubleshoot, and back up existing instructional systems, as well as associated peripherals, in coordination and collaboration with Technology personnel. Work collaboratively and communicate with the building-based TSS (Technical Support Specialist) when identifying, troubleshooting, and/or securing resources for the maintenance and repair of Instructional systems. Remotely support staff and handle technology tickets. Manage logistics for 3rd party repair, e-cycle, and surplus services in collaboration with the Lead TSS and other technicians. Maintain and manage the technical support for all instructional systems, from learning and teaching. Maintain and manage the device inventory system settings. Maintain and manage the technology ticketing system settings Maintain and update Technology content management systems as directed. Manage Instructional Technology data systems. Troubleshoot and investigate instructional student systems issues before assigning to the System Administrator Assist other department specialists as required. Assists in relieving the Director of administrative details. Answers phones, routes calls, and takes messages, gives information as needed. Transcribes and types correspondence, memos and bulletins. Maintains files, organizes office, orders supplies. Sorts and distributes mail. Facilitates travel arrangements. Assists with data analysis and reporting. Supports fiscal processes for the Administrator, related to; requisitions, purchase orders, and other related activities. Support personnel processes related to employee requisitions and payroll actions. Provides support to the administrator on special projects as they relate to the needs of the organization.
