Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, * Basic 3D modeling & drafting using Autodesk Revit, Fabrication CADMEP, and Autodesk AutoCAD. A VDC Modeler will be expected to model with manufacturer specific content. * Size plumbing pipe and HVAC pipe; this position will be expected to learn the basic material and connection options for common mechanical pipe and plumbing pipe. * Building/Manipulating Revit Families. * Produce graphical representation of specified design information on drawings. * Work with other team members to complete design, drawings and models as required. * Work with both field and shop teams to facilitate project communication. * Maintain training and continued education. In addition to the above, this position is responsible for the following: * Management of both VDC Schedule and VDC project budget. * Tracking any VDC issues throughout the coordination process. * Advanced 3D modeling & drafting using Autodesk Revit and Fabrication CADMEP. * Oversee Revit Project Setup to ensure company standards are withheld * Sizing plumbing pipe and HVAC pipe * Maintain Document Control for all VDC Deliverables * Building/Manipulating Revit Families * Produce graphical representation of specified design information on drawings * Work with other team members to complete design, drawings and models as required. * Mentor individuals with less experience so that they can advance their careers * Maintain training and continued education * Promote the company safety culture and safety awareness throughout the company, projects, or office. * Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.
