Bonus Skills * Have worked with authentication protocols like SAML and OIDC and fine-grained authorization. * Have an interest in application-level product security. * Have built reliable, mission-critical software for external customers. * Have designed and implemented scalable architecture patterns. * Have experience with Datadog or other log monitoring services and working with it to debug production issues. * Have experience working on a distributed team. ## Description Fivetran + dbt Labs is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dbt Platform Services teams. In this role you can expect to create and maintain stable, scalable services that are foundational to the dbt platform cloud product, based off solid architectural principles. Were also driving forward the next evolution of the dbt platform by redesigning our external APIs to power improved user experiences. From rethinking our core data model and entities, to scaling our APIs accessing state that power hundreds of thousands of dbt run executions a day, youll be working on some of the most crosscutting and high scale work at dbt Labs today. Youll be joining a collaborative team of engineers; and as a Senior Engineer on the team, you will prioritize and tackle problems as they arise, working iteratively with product management, security and QA to deliver a great experience for our dbt Cloud administrators and end users. Today we serve some of the largest data-driven organizations in the world, enabling them to make decisions based on the knowledge at the core of their business. Your work directly impacts dbt Labs mission by expanding the organizations we serve and the data practitioners we reach.
