Preferred: * Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Apache Kafka) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS). * Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). * Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis). * Familiarity with observability and monitoring tooling (e.g., Datadog, Splunk). The total cash range for this position in Madrid is €55,500.00 to €78,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to €89,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future. ## Description Our Madrid engineering team is at the heart of building and scaling the backend systems that power these partnerships. As a Software Development Engineer III, you will be an influential individual contributor - mentoring peers, leading complex technical initiatives, and helping shape the architecture of services used by partners globally.
