## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 * 7+ years of professional experience as a .NET Developer or with a comparable object-oriented programming language.
 * 3+ years leading teams delivering complex initiatives and core projects.
 * Proficiency with .NET Core, C#, Python, Java, SQL Server, and Git/Azure DevOps.
 * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, relational databases, and the SDLC.
 * Experience with debugging, performance profiling, and optimization.
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
 * Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills.
 * Willingness to prepare technical documentation for the development team.

## Description

As a Lead Software Engineer for our Digital Payments Team, you will lead a team of engineers to build and scale systems that move money reliably, securely, and at high volume. You will own key integrations with payment vendors globally, leading projects end-to-end from technical design through delivery. You will drive cross-functional conversations while coordinating across engineering, product, and external partners to ship new payment initiatives.

 * Drive the delivery of key initiatives while guiding the team on best engineering practices.
 * Develop and support .NET Core and .NET Framework REST APIs and Microservices.
 * Write clean and scalable code using standard software design patterns and best practices.
 * Mentor and develop your team, promoting continuous improvement and quality delivery.
 * Design and integrate third-party services into our application to support business needs.
 * Collaborate with multiple teams and developers to meet project deadlines.
 * Analyze opportunities for improvements in our application and process flow.
 * Translate business requirements into technical specifications and a delivery plan.
