## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Optical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or another relevant technical field
 * 3+ years of experience in at least one of Computer-in-the-Loop (CIL), Software-in-the-Loop, Hardware-in-the-Loop systems
 * Experience with realtime operating systems
 * Experience programming in C++
 * Experience with Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) development using VHDL/Verilog
 * Experience programming in Python
 * Experience writing hardware/software interfaces and hardware control algorithms
 * Familiarity with the physics of passive electro-optic or active laser systems
 * Active Secret clearance, * Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Optical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or another relevant technical field
 * Familiarity with objected oriented design and development
 * Experience with infrared imaging and tracking systems
 * Experience with Linux operating systems, such as Red Hat, CentOS or Ubuntu
 * Experience with high-speed camera interfaces, such as CameraLink, 10 GigE Vision
 * Experience developing High Energy Laser (HEL) weapon system software/firmware
