## About the Role

* High school diploma with 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as warehouse, logistics, or inventory management.
 * Attention to detail and ability to document work under GMP regulations.
 * Comfortable working independently and reliably with a sense of urgency.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as familiarity with Coupa and Microsoft Outlook.
 * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

 * Experience with dock and inventory is a plus.
 * Certification in IATA Dangerous Goods is advantageous.
 * Knowledge of DOT Hazardous Materials is beneficial.
 * Familiarity with GMP/GLP practices is preferred.

Work Environment

The position is based in a lab setting that is fast-paced and production-oriented, requiring the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. The lab, located in Madison, WI, tests food and dietary supplements for nutritional value. With 400 employees in the department, including 200 in the lab, the work can be repetitive based on team assignments. Expect to stand for the majority of the day, walking between 15,000-25,000 steps daily.

Coupa (Spend Management Software), Join our dynamic team as a Lab Coordinator, where you'll play a vital role in supporting both logistics and the pitch/pull/disposal team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a third-party food testing company, ensuring the efficient delivery and management of samples and supplies to the lab., * Run samples and supplies to the lab and scan barcodes during retrieval and delivery.

 * Track samples using the NIMS database.
 * Assist with mixing chemicals and delivering them to chemists.
 * Support the glassware washers, shipping, inventory, and pitch/pull/disposal teams.
 * Train in all areas to provide coverage during team members' absences.
 * Resolve client sample issues and manage internal customer inquiries and requests.
 * Apply GMP/GLP standards in all responsibilities.
 * Communicate sample information and discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
 * Dispose of samples in accordance with SOPs.
 * Unload morning trucks, handling customer samples and dry ice.
 * Use pallet jacks and scanning guns for package tracking.
 * Maintain the warehouse and ensure everything is current.
 * Utilize Coupa for procurement tasks and respond to daily emails.
 * Deliver lab orders and office supplies as needed.
