The successful candidate will be responsible for mainframe development and maintenance, analysis of business requirements, and the creation of technical design documents. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of DB2, and extensive experience in mainframe environments., 1. Work closely with business analysts and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical design and system specifications. 2. Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL. 3. Perform application analysis, design, development, unit testing, and support for mainframe systems. 4. Ensure that systems are developed, enhanced, and maintained in accordance with established standards and procedures. 5. Troubleshoot complex system and user issues and identify solutions. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. 7. Provide technical leadership on mainframe technologies to the team and organization. 8.
