Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Senior Director, IT Infrastructure and Operations - **Company:** USA Truck Inc. - **Location:** Van Buren, AR, United States - **Experience:** Expert - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Information Systems, Customer Data Management, Office Suite, Information Technology - **Published:** July 9, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=32176745e298b3c9 ## About the Role * Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience * 10+ years of relevant experience in and at least five years of experience in large, cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders * 10+ years of experience in designing and maintaining IT infrastructure and network * Demonstrated experience in strategic planning * Formal IT service management training and 3+ years of experience of managing IT service delivery using an IT service management methodology such as ITIL * Experience working with C-Level officials on budget forecasting and management * 5+ years progressive experience in the areas of personnel, project, and process management PREFERRED SKILLS. * Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills * Solid technical infrastructure experience * Strong project management acumen * Excellent vendor management skill * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders * Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience. * Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results. * Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety. ## Description * Responsible for operational efficiency and reliability of core systems; sets standards for the systems environment * Establish and maintain productive vendor relationships including negotiating and managing contract terms * Influence IT team and staff, business unit and other functional group leaders acting as credible representative of business functions/processes being supported * Advise on emerging technologies that should be integrated and/ or introduced to ensure IT capabilities respond to the needs of the enterprise's business strategy * Participate in development and actively manage the annual operating and capital expenditure budget * Participate in IT strategic planning ensuring alignment with business strategy * Responsible for planning, maintaining and testing the disaster recovery plan and implementation * Protection of IT systems including network, infrastructure, and all other areas of IT.
