## About the Role

Education/Skills/Training:

 * High school diploma or approved equivalent.
 * Basic math skills, 10-key and keyboarding.
 * Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
 * Well-developed smart phone and digital channel skills.
 * Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills.
 * Must be certified in the IRA Road Map and participate in branch onboarding of new hires.

Experience:

 * Prior banking and supervisory experience preferred, including previous work in retail, consumer service delivery, or client relations.

## Description

Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through the delivery of excellent service.

 * Assist clients by recognizing opportunities and making appropriate product and service recommendations for both consumer and small business clients.
 * Supervise two or more CSRs and manage scheduling, branch staff on-boarding and training, workflow management, and daily adherence to operational processes and policies.
 * Assist the manager in suggesting ways to optimize operational effectiveness, productivity, and efficiency to build shareholder value.
 * Demonstrate and apply skills necessary to open all account types and originate loans.
 * Develop competencies and certifications/registration necessary to support branch performance goals.
 * Assume responsibility for the branch in the absence of other branch leadership.
 * Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations.
 * Reflect the corporate values and ethics of WaFd Bank, including integrity, teamwork, ownership, simplicity, discipline, and service. In addition, they must be kind.
