All part time faculty are responsible for providing our students with a high quality learning environment, while utilizing their focused expertise and experience in their individual classroom, laboratories and studios. The Computer Science Department is looking for dedicated individuals that have demonstrated teaching excellence, interest in and ability to teach a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Computer Science and Computer Information Systems. Teaching responsibilities may include hardware and software courses, programming courses in Java/Python, networks and databases, and other courses that meet the needs of the department. The Computer Science department offers the following majors/concentrations/tracks: * Computer Science * Computer Information Systems * Game Programming * Cybersecurity M.S. in Computer Science Minors: Computer Science Most graduate and some undergraduate courses can be offered remotely using asynchronous, synchronous modes. Requirements: A doctoral degree or a Master's degree with at least 5 years of work experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field; commitment to excellence in teaching. Ability to teach courses in a variety of programming languages and other courses is preferred. Preference will also be given to flexible applicants who can develop/teach courses that contribute to both our undergraduate Computer Science and Computer Information Systems programs and our Computer Science Masters program. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to integrate appropriate instructional technology and innovative teaching techniques is highly desirable.
